Celebrate Jesus Christ

Friend, my wife and I are well and wish you a blessed resurrection season. Thank you for being part of our lives. It is amazing how fast the year is going but we thank God for His faithfulness for He has been good to us and has kept us this far.

Last year, God gave me a word that is similar to what I will share with you today. As I continued to meditate on what God wanted us to share this month, this word came over and over again. Friend, this month is A Month to Celebrate Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Romans 5: 7-8 “For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Friend, Jesus Christ came to die for you and I so that we could be “…redeemed us from the curse of the law” (Galatians 3:13). No curse can destroy you because Jesus has redeemed us. Numbers 23:23 says that “…there is no enchantment against Jacob…” No plan of the wicked ones over your life will prevail because Jesus has redeemed you. You and I have been bought with a price that no other bidder can pay.

Friend, Jesus Christ came to die for you and I so that He could “…destroy the devil’s work”(1 John 3:8). Every work that the devil is planning against you and your household will not prevail. Every sickness, every pain, every sorrow, planned by the enemy against you may they be totally destroyed in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Every strategy of the devil at your work place will be brought to naught in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Jesus also came so that He could “…reconcile us to God” (2Corinthians 5:19). Paul says that because of this He “… hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph 2:6). This is similar to Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth, who was in a valley of despair but was brought by King David to sit at the king’s table. This is what Jesus has done for us. Through Him, we can now call God our Father. We have been adopted into the King’s house. Praise the Lord!. And friend, even though “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come (said Jesus) that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10) (My addition in bold). May God contend with every power or principality that wants to deny you life in its fullest in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Friend, Jesus did not have to come, but He did. The songwriter in this song below summed it up excellently.

Above all kingdoms
Above all thrones
Above all wonders
The world has ever known
Above all wealth
And treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure
What You're worth

Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all.

Let us maintain a thankful heart for all God has done and continues to do in our lives. More so, for what Christ did for you and I.

My wife and I wish you a blessed resurrection season!
