A Month of Praise and Worship
Praise the Precious Name of Jesus.
I am confident that The Faithful Lord has kept you well up till now. My wife and I are fine and are excited to be co-heirs in the Kingdom of God at such a time as this.
The Lord has placed in my spirit that this month shall be a Month of Praise & Worship.
The Bible says in Judges 1: 1-2 “After the death of Joshua, the Israelites asked the Lord, Who shall be the first to go up and fight for us against the Canaanites?; The Lord answered, Judah is to go; I have given the land into their hands.”
Judah was the son of Leah, the first wife of Jacob; a wife unloved by her husband. The Lord blessed her womb and she gave birth to sons expecting that she would win her husband’s love but this was not so. She finally decided that enough was enough and she changed her focus from her husband to God. She purposed in her spirit to praise and worship God. It was at this time that she gave birth to a son and declared “This time, I will praise the Lord”. She called his name Judah which means “Praise Yahweh”.
Just as the Israelites were confronted by the Canaanites so we too have our own Canaanites. There are some harsh and difficult situations confronting us right now. Situations that seem to persist, that seem to get worse rather than better. BUT, I have good news for you. I hear a ROAR. The LION of The Tribe of Judah is roaring. (Revelations 5:5). Remember, the only war strategy that will assure us of victory is the one The Lord gave to the Israelites. “JUDAH MUST GO FIRST”. Praise must go first. We need to give praise and worship first place. We need to enter His presence with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. When we give the “first thing” priority, then all the other things shall fall in their rightful place. As we enter into His presence with praise and worship, we will receive guidance, wisdom, peace and victory.
Start this month with a prayer that you will pursue praise. Purpose to worship the Master like never before.
Dear Lord Jesus, You are the Lion of the tribe of Judah; we worship and adore Your Holy name. Jesus, teach us to praise and worship You. Take us to a new level in our praise and worship experience. Jesus, set the stage so that we may worship you on every occasion. Like David, may we never be ashamed to worship You with all our strength, might and soul. Lord, Transform us, our family members, our friends, our churches and our Bible study groups. Let praise and worship explode in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. King Jesus, fill our spirits with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Let songs of adoration, of reverence, songs of thanksgiving, songs of praise and songs of worship saturate our minds and spirits each and every moment. Re-align our focus each day of this month and indeed every day of our life that we might continuously praise and worship you and you alone in Your Great and Mighty Name, Amen.
Let Judah roar in this month of Praise and Worship in Jesus Name, Amen.
